Tips!

Today I thought I would share a couple of tips that you might find useful.
Tip #1 Always plan EVERYTHING! ex. have you ever been fixing dinner and realized at the last minute that you didn't have a important ingredient and have to run to the store and pick it up? not only are you wasting the gas to go get the item but there might even be a coupon out there to make the item free if you only had the time to search for it.
Tip #2 (This one is my favorite)  Thrift store! There are many different thrift stores out there now. I have found brand new items that still had the tags on them of $50 or more and paid $2-$5 for them. I have found $25-$50 homeschool books for .10c.  That is some major savings on my pocket book :)  I know some people may have "issues" with shopping at a thrift store, if you are one of those people get over it! More than likely if someone sees you at a thrift store it is because they are also shopping there! After the first few visists you will be kicking yourself for not doing it sooner.
Tip #3 I will discuss coupons more in depth at a later date but if you are one of those people who doesn't want to take the time to clip coupons or go to more than one store then this tip is for you. Always remember to price match at Walmart!  Walmart's policy states that each individual store has the right to only except price matching from stores closest to them so be sure to know your individual stores policy.  I know my Walmart will accept all ads that come in our paper so this is not a problem for me. Walmart will only price match if the ad states a dollar amount. ex.  no buy one get one free and no % off ads will match at Walmart. Watch for their own sales and "stock up" on those items!
I hope these tips might be of some benefit to you all! I will have more tips to come!
